Reflexology is a specialised form of massage of the feet and ankles often described as “Nature’s tranquilliser”: it elicits deeply wholesome and medicinal relaxation, encouraging the life forces towards greater self regulation and self-healing. It may help to balance hormones, improve digestion, soothe back pain or headaches, come to terms with difficult emotions, navigate crisis times etc; it is therefore excellent for stress management. See www.aor.org.uk

Fertility and maternity reflexology: couples preparing for conscious conception are supported via specific reflexology methods and holistic advice to optimise chances, whether completely naturally or complementing a fertility clinic’s programme; pregnant women are greatly helped through deeply relaxing sessions and experience significant relief of discomforts and ailments, preparing for more positive birthing experience for mum and baby, including “priming for labour” (induction) for post-due babies as well as “breech turning” (after 36 weeks); postnatal sessions are supportive in specific ways. See www.activebirthcentre.com

Spiritual healing: a subtle therapy where the healer is a prayerful conduit (channel) for universal energy, which can bring benefit on many levels: see www.thehealingtrust.org.uk

Birth doula: as a birth companion, supporting the woman in labour emotionally and physically, at home or in hospital, offering continuity of care from beginning to end and the first few postnatal hours. See www.doula.org.uk

Of French and Polish origin, I originally trained as a geologist in Brazil, then changed career to work with people not rocks, although I now occasionally prescribe trace elements (minerals), having trained in oligotherapy. I am a qualified and insured reflexologist and spiritual healer, with 30 years’  experience, and specialise in the field of fertility and pregnancy, including offering a doula service (birth companion). I am based at the Active Birth Centre in London and at Eaux Vives in Forest Row, working from home. I am inspired by anthroposophy, Jungian psychology, and Mother Nature.
