Can your positive ‘amicable divorce’ story help inspire others? A respected journalist wants to hear your story:
“Is it REALLY possible to have a happy divorce? If yes, I’d love to hear from you, in connection with an article I’m writing for You Inspire, the women’s pages of the Daily Mail, on amicable divorces. Now that ‘no fault’ divorces don’t require even pretend acrimony, couples are finding harmonious ways to divorce.
There are ‘divorce ceremonies’ officiated by civil celebrants – where you invite friends, have a meal, say nice things about each other and shake hands to end it. There are ‘divorce vows’ where you make pledges around co-parenting the children. And there are divorce counsellors not to help couples split assets but to talk through the marriage’s best bits, and help them end it with only good memories.
If you’ve recently had a happy divorce, or are going through one and would like to talk about your experiences, please contact me on sally@workonline.co.uk.
Publication is early in the new year. If you are interested, please get in touch as soon as possible. Thank you! Sally Williams”
