FDR i assume husband wants this car has tried very hard to get it back for 2 years , contents of house husbands states lots of contents belong to outside people ?. As i am the applicant do i just push the button for final order for divorce as after 3 months respondent can i think ????? Fdr he wants brother i law ro retuen as he jointly own the house and the house sale date needs to be confirmed , and father-in law as he needs to confirm his £137,000 loan money , mother-inlaw is no longer needed ???????

Hi Jaswinder - do you mean apply for the final order (min 6 weeks after conditional order)? If there are no assets to split then why are you scheduled for an FDR - or is that not the case? What is the judge expecting you to do before the next court date now he’s ruled on the property? A consent order clean break to ensure your husband can never chase you for money in the future is a good idea - so best to submit that with his agreement at the conditional order stage and apply for final order AFTER submitting it. If your husband petitioned then send him the link below via his lawyer and tell him you want to get a clean break asap. The lawyer may persuade him to pay more for the same thing but either way - what is there to fight over? Get it done. This can be done online - this company can create the legal paperwork for less than most lawyers will charge. Your husband may even pay as it’s cheaper for him? Presumably he wants this divorce over and done with? (Child support is separate). But do get some debt advice. There will be debt charities covering your area - take advice from them about how to manage the debt. Or as they say rule of thumb of thumb for finances to be concluded. In regards ro my own credit card dept am i allowed to use my savings to repay that off £2000 in savings £1000 to pay of dept

I think you are speaking with the experts as fast as you can. With the courts, just keep them informed - ideally in writing or make sure they write down a note if you call. So it's clear that your are actively seeking to resolve the financials and to keep it out of court, and doing all the right things.
