I’ve just had an idea….
If he wants to claim from my flat, i say No. But then say to him , if you don’t want a clean break then when your parents pass away i will claim from your inheritance from the house, and any lottery winnings etc. Is that a good idea?
Thanks
(If i prewarn him about his parents’s house will they be able to protect it so i can’t claim?

Include in the form e an estimated valuation of his parents home - possible inheritance - and suggest a clean break to protect him from a future claim. Also - to indicate he doesn’t need any of your pension or property abroad whereas you need both as you are the only person currently supporting your son’s financial needs.
