Well, let’s be realistic – this may be the most challenging experience of your life. So what we will focus on here, is how to make sure that your emotional and psychological state does not become the cause of further conflict.
Co-parenting – especially when access is being denied to see the children or there is ongoing bullying on either side – is a great way to learn new skills in patience, planning, visualisation, communication skills. Because you will be getting lots of practice from your Ex!
Don’t confuse despair with depression – be wary of relying on medication
Take care of yourself – explore holistic options that build self-confidence rather than quick feel-good fixes.
