MARRIAGE PLAN

 

INCLUDES:

  • Template Marriage Plan – Taking you through the vision and aspirations you have for your relationship. Gaining clarity on:
    • What are your ‘non negotiables’;
    • Where are you ‘on the same page’ with a shared vision;
    • Areas where you may ‘agree to disagree’ – but are clear on each others feelings and viewpoints

 

  • A draft parenting plan

 

  • Creating a financial plan 

 

  • Support network: introductions to free initial conversations with a range of experts you may want to speak to, including:
    • legal/Wills/trusts
    • financial
    • coaching
    • parenting

 

  • Being sensible: You know its smart to create a Will for the sake of your future children, but your marriage is far more likely to end statistically with both of you still alive (thankfully!). So if it’s sensible to write a Will, then it’s even smarter to consider how your family would mange if it changes form through separation or divorce:
    • co-parenting non-negotiables
    • financial provision

N.B. This process can later be turned into a ‘prenuptial agreement’ or where a marriage is delayed, a ‘living together agreement’ – but the key is being able to have those discussions about money and parenting, knowing who can support you as a family, whatever life throws at you.

 

  • 1 hour live zoom call: We would talk through the different aspects and decide which experts you would benefit from having those complimentary calls with.

 

  • Follow up 30 minute zoom: Answering any questions that have arisen and also making any further introductions required.

 

 

 

Book your Marriage Plan

Once the booking is made, I’ll be in touch to arrange a time that suits you best for our 1 hour initial session.

Then you will receive the template in advance with a little bit of suggested homework (nothing onerous – mostly fun stuff!)

After our one hour session I’ll be introducing you to the experts you require (for those complimentary calls) and we’ll set up the follow up call when you’re ready.

Will I need a lawyer as well?

My job is to massively reduce the need for expensive legal fees.

Most of what is needed is to agree on financial and parenting aspects, so no legal advice is required.

If you need a Will drafted, or to convert your agreement into a pre-nup, then I can introduce you to a relevant lawyer/legal executive – but you’ll already have done most of the work, so the costs will be minimal.
